I added a new tag called completed quilts so that you (and I!) can easier browse through my completed quilts posts. I can’t believe that my latest quilt is my thirteenth! Amazing, I’ve been having so much fun making them. I’m already working on my next quilt, so here’s to 13 more!

Today is invisiblegirl.org’s seventh birthday I’ve been maintaining a blog for 9 years now! Most of my earlier entries are private locked (I had no filter!) but some of them are pretty funny to look at!

I forgot to renew my domain this year, so I went through a couple of days of not having a domain! It was very scary, but all’s back to normal now

I found this theme over at WPGlamour.com and I really liked it’s simplicity. I also like the sidebar. I tweaked it a bit to fit my personal needs (fonts, sidebar, etc) and it was actually really easy to do. I think I may add a header with a couple pictures of rpattz and kristen from the VMAs, those fit the bright colors of this theme. yay

I’ve upgraded WP to the latest version, finally. I’ve been a bit too lazy to upgrade to 2.6 for a while now, but I really like it!

I’m also working on getting a new theme up, which actually inspired my upgrade, haha.

I’ve also finished putting the first version of BigJohnMazmanian.com online for a good friend of mine. Check it out and let me know what you think of it. I am thinking of adding a message board on there — a really simple one. Any suggestions for a good, light weight, simple script?

Domain Renewal

I’ve been so busy with wedding planning lately, I feel like a chicken with my head cutoff. But today I was able to pay attention to my little domain! I renewed the domain so we don’t have a repeat of last year, when I almost forgot to renew in time.

Yesterday I went to the Los Angeles Flower District to look at flowers for the wedding with Mike’s mom and aunt. His aunt does really beautiful arrangements for all of the family’s events. I decided on a white scheme filled with tulips, hydrangeas, freesia, lilies, roses, chrysanthemum, eucalyptus and a couple of greeneries I don’t know the name of. We bought some of each and made arrangements when we got home, and they were so beautiful! I’m really excited. My sister has already booked the place for my bridal shower, and this week I’m making reservations for my bachelorette party! Next weekend I’m going dress shopping, which I’m not looking forward to. x.x Wish me luck! Only 209 days to go!

I decided to debut my new layout even though it doesn’t work 100% well. I’m somewhat satisfied with the way it turned out. I’ll probably make another one soon for Christmas

I think this theme is finished for now. I decided to call it “Simple & Clean.” That’s how it feels to me, anyway.
