My weekend was so fun! So on Thursday Mike, Amber, Greg, Jason, Bennet, some of their friends, and I went to the Switchfoot concert. At first it kind of sucked, because everyone was late, and there was traffic, and blah blah, but the band ended up starting late (of course) and we got there just in time. At first we stood in the courtyard (which was PACKED!) and we couldn’t see anything. Amber was freaking out, I guess she was a big fan. Anyway, after that Greg and Jason found a spot on the roof which had a great view. We were there for a total of five minutes when Security came and kicked us out. :P After that, Mike, Amber, and I went onto the second floor balcony. It wasn’t as crowded as I thought, and we ended up standing behind a guy in a wheelchair, who was at the front of the balcony. Great view. XD After that, everyone wanted to see a movie, but we couldn’t agree on one, so we ended up eating at Chevy’s. Soo good! After that, Mike and I fell asleep on the way home. :) I heard Greg talking about how much he missed Kristin, and I felt sad for him. :( As much as I tease him, I really do love him like a brother. It made me sad to hear he was so depressed. But, never fear! Only… 31 days until she’s back? ^_^;

Saturday I woke up in a funk. I woke up early, for starters, but then I realized it was time for the DMB Blogaton! and I got in a way better mood. It was soooo fun! I really can’t wait until the next one. Until then, go join! And I’ll see you there. :D it’s really a fun board, there’s sooo much to do there, and everyone is so nice! I love DMB. XD Anyway, I wasn’t able to participate for too long because I had to go shopping for a new outfit to wear at Mike’s cousin’s birthday party. I started at the Laguna Hills Mall and got really discouraged after I went into about 4 stores, picked out clothes, and put them all back because I couldn’t get excited about them. I actually called Mike and was on the brink of tears because I couldn’t find anything I wanted to buy. >.>;; Am I an idiot? I think so. After that I got a t-shirt for Mike’s cousin, and went to the Mission mall to try again. I went straight to Forever 21 and all my sadness melted away as soon as I stepped into the shiny universe of cute clothing! I bought a skirt, new pants, 2 new tank tops, and one of those shirts I’ve been wanting forever, and new sunglasses. I plan on taking pics later. :) By then it was somewhere around 2 or 3. I only had an omelett and muffin my Dad had made me that morning, and no lunch still. Then I got on the freeway and of course… traffic up the wazoo. I don’t even know why I bother taking the freeway to Mike’s anymore, it’s so crowded. Anyhow, Mike’s mom had a tuna sandwich waiting for me (*_*) and I got changed and etc and we drove out to the party. We didn’t bring swimsuits (we didn’t know) but we borrowed some and went swimming for a while. We had a lot of fun, and Mike has tons of cute baby cousins! I also got to see Francis’ baby girl, and she is the cutest thing ever. We left after a little bit, and I went home as soon as we got to Mike’s.

Sunday the kids were back from Houseboats, and I was excited for them. It seems like God is moving a lot in their lives, and I hope they keep the commitments they made on the trip. A lot of kids tend to have this “camp high,” where they’re really into God and such on the trip, and then come home and are back to the same old stuff. I hope that doesn’t happen with them. I felt really in tune with God at church, too. Sometimes I get bored while I’m worshipping (singing the songs), but not today. It was a good time at church. I feel bad, because I’m kind of dreading next Sunday, because we have to teach. Also, we have to tell Linda that we won’t be teaching next year, too. She’s going to guilt us into staying. –; After church, we had lunch at Baja Fish tacos, then we saw The Manchurian Candidate. It wasn’t that great, IMO. After that we went to Costco, then home. Mike and I made dinner (Mike made the steak and I helped him with the French fries), it was pretty good. We watched The Whole Ten Yards, which sucked. :P Then Mike and I talked for a bit (I’ll probably do a private entry on that after this) and I went home.

Yesterday I was working, and three people were out. Out of seven. So I was wondering why I was there, and trying to think of a way to get out of going to work tomorrow. Not to mention the fact that I woke up late after a night of weird dreams and tossing and turning. Poop. :P

And today, guess what happened? I got sick. So I didn’t go to work. Weird coincidence, no? I also downloaded Firefox and it’s quite fun, I like it. :D
