For those of you who have been keeping up, sorry, but here is a re-cap:
Last night, I made the huge mistake of deleting the SQL database that stored all of my WordPress blog entries. The most recent backup I could find was from August of this year. I was able to import all of my blogger entries and whatnot again, but those four months were gone.
And now.
While I was rooting around on my computer for plugin .zip files so I could fix the plugins that went haywire, I came across a SQL backup in .zip format!! I knew I had a more recent backup somewhere, but I thought that I had deleted it on accident. As it turns out, this back up is from November! So I was able to re-create a SQL database with that file. Ah, so much easier! 1 month loss is a lot easier to swallow than 4 months. :-D

Now, I don’t post anything political usually, but I thought I should talk about this election, since people are being such babies about it: Bush won. He got the most popular votes and the most electoral college votes. There was nothing tricky or underhanded about it, Kerry just didn’t win. By the way, I’d like to point out what a great running mate Edwards was…

YES IT ARE! Edwards couldn’t even hold his own STATE! I guess looks aren’t everything, eh?

Hi everyone! well, it’s been a while, hehe. This weekend was pretty uneventful. I hung out with Mike pretty much whenever possible (hehe) and I bought new shoes!

Yesterday was school, boring. Also my Phil teacher was being a total whore, it wasn’t a good class. Logic is so hard ; ;. So after that, Mike and I tried to go to Company D, but we had a bit of trouble finding it. Finally we found it, and we shopped away. I bought a shirt, and a keychain, and Mike bought me a Tinkerbell pin. He also bought me a Tinkerbell mug the day before, it’s so cute. I’ll (hopefully) take pictures of all this soon. ^^
Also, if you hadn’t noticed, there is a new section! The For You section has all kinds of goodies for you and your site, so check it out. I also made a page for the themes so you can get a background on each theme, and kind of know what a theme is, hehe. Leave a comment and let me know what you think of these two new additions, and also some feedback for them… I also plan to add an “Emotion Erin” page, but I can’t decide if it should be under “For you” or “About me.” What do you think? If you don’t know what I’m taling about, check out Emotion Eric. I’m going to do something like that, hehe. Also I’m going to add the Physics comic to the site, but again… under For you or About Me?
In other news, I think I’m going to shut down pcNET. I just don’t like it as much as igORG, hehe, and I get tons of spam on my email address there, too. I try to check it every 2-3 days, and inevitably the account has over 280 new messages, all spam.
Most likely I will move everything from there (fanlistings, sites, etc) over to here and just not renew the domain for the next year. I’ll also need to go for the next size up in hosting, which is double the space and bandwidth for the same price as e-starr. if you’re looking for cheap, reliable hosting, check out Falconess.net hosting. I’ve been with them for about… hm… how long have I had this domain now? 2 or 3 months? And no problems, and Candace is so helpful. Check her out. Also, she accepts Paypal payments, which is a plus for me, so I don’t have to charge my hosting to my mom’s credit card anymore.
Anyway, enough geeky ranting from me.
