I have a touch of a headache.
I just read Anthem by Ayn Rand. It’s a good little read, 100 pages or so. About the terror of the future and how one man learns the value of self and knowledge in an age where humanity has regressed to 17th century mentality and technology. Maybe even earlier. I think I’ve read it before, it seemed familiar.
The Mandalas came in today, and I saw my page! I was very satisfied with it, I couldn’t have done a better job on it myself. It’s really cute and everything I wanted it to be. ^_^!! I saw it at anime club. We watched “3×3 Eyes” [boring] then I hopped on over to the Wanginator’s to check my face out. It’s looking pretty hot if I do say so myself [which I do]. Today was a pretty fun day, especially in physics when we threw water on each other. Don’t ask me why this was hilarious, but it was. The weather wasn’t all frigid and nasty, I felt good and wanted everyone around me to feel good, too. ^_^ I sound weird right now. Probably because I am, muah-ha!
Oh my mom is making lazagna and it will be soooo goooood.
My poetry quest is not going well at all. :p I think I’ll just bring my “Playing with Crayons” and be done with it. Yay.
K bye. :D
mood: Happy. :D

I just want to stay like this forever.
So I should be studying for any one of the number of tests I have coming up tomorrow. Why aren’t I? Because I can’t stop thinking about the great weekend I had, of which only sleeping hours were spent apart from Mike. Now that’s the way I like it!
Friday was LAN party day! Mike picked me up after baseball and went to Regal to see “Spirited Away.” It was soooo good! I’ve seen half of it before, but this time I got to finish it. The dub was surprisingly not too painful. I was satisfied with the selection of voice actors. Most of which were professionals, the part of Lin was played by Susan Egan, who also played Meg in Hercules. I was happy to learn that Disney is trying to treat the movies that they bring in from Japan as well as they treat their own movies, at least now anyway. After that we went to the LAN party, which was hectic and unorganized, but still fun to be a part of. Next time I’ll watch people play instead. :) I fell asleep on the chair around 11:30 and headed home afterwards.
Saturday Mike came bright and early and we headed out to St. John Bosco in Bellflower to play some ball! I got some sun, Mike caught for Hughes a bit after the game, good times. :) We went over to my old house before the game… ah, memories. So then we went home and got some Wahoo’s [yummy Classic Burrito] whereupon we learned that Mike had to study for 2 hours before we could do anything. I read A Passage to India while he read A Brave New World. By then it was too late to go mini-golfing like we had planned, so we invited Maz over, who brought Gio [Brian?] to watch “The Ring” with Mike’s family. Mike’s mom made enchiladas :D Greg sneaked up on Mike and I and grabbed us at the end right when she teleports. It was so scary :( Then Mike’s dad made him take me home at 8:30, which made me sad. :(
Sunday we went to church and watched a video on the “Pagan Invasion!” lol… it was hilarious. It was all about how evolution is wrong and stuff. It made a couple good points, but the best part was the Pagan invasion lol. After that we went to lunch at Rubio’s, [Shrimp Burrito = heaven] then we went to the beach! The water was cold :D But it was such a beautiful day, I really wanted to spend all day outside. Which I did :) Now I’m here studying, and Mike is sleeping… I wore him out. ^.~ Juuust kidding.
Tomorrow should be fun…

It’s the day after Christmas!! So I’ll tell you about my wonderful life since last saturday.
I went to Mexico last Saturday to do some service down there with Vanessa’s church. It was cool, especially the parts where we almost smashed into other cars while we slid in the mud. Then Mike Fitch called Vanessa’s cell and accused me of selling my wares in Tijuana. –; Anal pirate. When I got home I was greeted by a household of unwanted relatives invading my personal territory. At least I got a present out of it: a paint set from Granny. At least I wasn’t accused of being anti-social, a loser, a wanna-be asian, etc…
Sunday I went to Disneyland with my sister, Teresa [who arrived on Friday] and my brother, Chris, along with my mother and some friends of ours, the Williams. We went to California Adventure in the morning and Disneyland that night. Space Mountain broke down and we got to see the inside all lit up. It was soooo cool. :) Then we went shopping at the Emplorium and I got a sweatshirt. Disney’s Princess Club! I am a princess. :)
Monday Teresa forced me to go shopping with her. We bought my dad the Band of Brothers DVD boxset, Chris a couple CDs, Amber some clothes [since the ones she owns do not fit her rapidly growing bust size], and Teresa rewarded me with a jean skirt I had my eye on [Hey, it was only $10. I love Old Navy]. Then we went out with my mom and saw “Two Weeks Notice” with Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant [not my choice of movie]. It had it’s funny moments, but it wasn’t anything truly memorable.
Tuesday, Christmas Eve. Dawn arrived two hours early [for a change] and we exchanged presents. I got an anklet [supposed to be a bracelet] from Dawn and family. Donny brought his Gamecube and we played 007 and that other game… the Mario one with lots of games on it… Mike Cragg also popped by, unbeknownst to me, and dropped a gift off for me on the front porch. Dad knocked it over when he went out for a walk and that’s how we found it, hehe. ^^; It was a glass mug with pistachios and other assorted candies in it. Yum yum in my tum. I really need to get around to telling him that we’re just friends. ^^;
Wednesday I awoke with a start once I realized it was Christmas Day! A little too early, however, since we couldn’t open up presents until Teresa woke up, and she didn’t wake up for another hour and a half. That’s okay, we entertained ourselves with Band of Brothers documentary: We Stand Alone Together. Very good. She finally woke up and we opened presents. I got:
• Playstation 2 [Hallelujiah]
• Final Fantasy X
• Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon
• Sweet sound system that goes with the PS2
• Sparkly silver converse from Teresa
• Josh Groban CD [I'm still asking myself why]
• Slippers
• 4th Love Hina DVD from Chris
• Candy
• Ozzy Osbourne keychain [stocking :)]
• Tweezers [??? stocking as well]
That’s it ^_^ So numbers 2 and 5 are crossed off my Christmas list… I still want the other things though!! lol. After dinner, we went and saw The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. VERY good!! I can’t wait another year for the last LOTR movie!! I like Aragon more now, even if he is cheating on Arwen. But Legolas is still hottest in my book.
Teresa left today. I put all my presents away and cleaned my room, did laundry. Daddy went and bought me a memory card for PS2. Yay Daddy. I talked to Nick Mazmanian today, apparently he got arrested on Christmas Eve. I say to myself: Why doesn’t that surprise me? Silly kid. Also watched Hellsing today, eps 1-3. Yikes, that’s all I have to say.
I’m about 100 pages into East, West, one of the books I have to read during break. The other is Autumn of the Patriarch. I’m scared! I also need to do a Physics project and work on religion homework assignments. Boo. In addition to playing FFIX and X…!!
Only a few more days until New Year’s Eve. I’ll be going to Mike Cragg’s house to hang out before the Nothing Special! Show. After that, I might go back to Mike Cragg’s house, or hang out with the band and the groupies, not sure yet.
